String Grid

Bei Adele gibt es diese Woche die Challenge It's a String Thing #246. Dabei geht es um eine Idee von Helen Williams, die sich "String Grid" nennt und ein "blumiges" Muster als Ergebnis hat.
Ich habe mich ziemlich schwer getan mit diesem Muster, aber das Ergebnis gefällt mir ganz gut :-)

Es konnte aus den Mustern Stircles, Tattle und C-bun ausgewählt werden.
Ich habe zwei der drei Muster verwendet und viel Spaß mit dem "Gebäck" gehabt ;-)

Bei Diva's Weekly Challenge #364 steht diese Woche das Muster PUF im Mittelpunkt. Mit diesem Muster sollte eine Monotangle-Kachel erstellt werden :-)
Ich liebe dieses Muster sehr und finde es immer wieder erstaunlich, wie es im Endeffekt aussieht!

I really love this pattern and I am always fascinated how the pattern looks in the end!

Ich habe dazu noch Widgets kombiniert und auf einer schwarzen Kachel gemalt :-)

For Diva's Weekly Challenge #345 we should create a holiday tile just right for christmas time. I tangled a little christmas bauble (is that the correct word for the "balls" you hang in the christmas tree???) with the pattern Tangleflakes4 :-)

Da ich so viel Spaß mit den Happy birds hatte, habe ich nun eine Weihnachtseule in ähnlichem Stil gemalt. Die wird zu Weihnachten verschenkt und ich denke, ich werde noch weitere Eulen malen :-)

Because I had a lot of fun with my Happy birds I painted a christmas owl now in a similar way. I will give this owl to someone special on christmas and I think I will paint more of them :-)

Bei der Suche nach Anleitungen für einfache Aquarelle, bin ich auf den Happy bird - Videokurs von Clarissa Hagenmeyer gestoßen und war sofort begeistert :-)
Da dort auch Muster eingearbeitet werden, hat es mich sofort angesprochen und die ersten drei Happy birds sind entstanden. Das hat wirklich viel Spaß gemacht und war mal etwas ganz anderes :-)

When I was searching tutorials for easy watercolor painting, I found the  Happy bird - Video by Clarissa Hagenmeyer und I was immediately thrilled :-)
I liked it at once because she uses also some patterns for her watercolor birds and so I created my first three happy birds. That was really a big fun and something else as usual :-)

Ich finde das Muster nicht ganz einfach zu zeichnen, aber die Ergebnisse mag ich sehr :-)

Als ich das Muster das erste Mal sah, wollte ich es gleich ausprobieren, habe es aber bisher nicht geschafft. Da kam Adeles Aufgabe gerade richtig ;-)

When I saw this pattern the first time I just wanted to try it but I didn't manage it so far. So Adeles challenge came just in the right moment ;-)

In den letzten Wochen habe ich sehr viele weitere für mich neue Muster entdeckt und habe einige von ihnen in einer Kachel ausprobiert: Spangle, Sultan, Gobi, Rimana, 133 und Tangleflakes#3.
Ein paar dieser Muster werde ich sicherlich noch öfter tanglen :-)

Challenge tiles :-)

Nach einer doch etwas längeren Pause habe ich nun endlich wieder Zeit und Ruhe gehabt und zwei Kacheln getangelt. Und es hat sehr großen Spaß gemacht :-)

Bei Diva's Weekly Challenge #335 steht diese Woche das Muster Tint im Mittelpunkt. Dieses Muster sollte in eine Kachel integriert werden.
Ich habe diverse Variationen dieses schönen Musters gezeichnet und dazu Trangle, Lily-eyes und Pearly kombiniert :-)

After a break that was a little bit longer than I expected before I finally had time and calm to tangle two tiles. And I had a lot of fun with them :-)

For Diva's Weekly Challenge #335 we should create a tile using the pattern Tint. I tangled some variations of this beautfil pattern and combined it with Trangle, Lily-eyes and Pearly :-)

Bei Adele gibt es diese Woche die Challenge It's a String Thing #214. Dabei sind ein spezieller String vorgegeben, der an die Kunstwerke von Mondrian erinnert, und folgende Muster, aus denen man auswählen kann: Hollibaugh, Beeline und Paradox.
Die beiden größeren "Bänder" auf der Kachel sind eigentlich silbrig, aber leider kann man das auf dem Foto nicht so genau erkennen...
Hollibaugh und Paradox sind Muster, die ich sehr liebe, daher hat mir die Kachel viel Spaß gemacht :-)

The two bigger straps on the tile are drawn with a silver pen, but you just can't see it very good on the photograph...
Hollibaugh and Paradox are two of my favorite patterns and so I had a lot of fun with this tile :-)

This week the challenge of Adele was a special one: the 200. Challenge "It's a String Thing" - Congratulations! :-)

A really good reason to celebrate! For this challenge Adele made a special pattern called C-Perfs and a string.
I combined this pattern with Seawave, Verve, Undu, Lily-eyes and Raindotty.
That was a wonderful challenge and I had a lot of fun to tangle it :-)

Bei Adele gibt es diese Woche die Challenge It's a String Thing #171. Dabei sind ein wellenförmiger String vorgegeben und folgende Muster, aus denen man auswählen kann: Sea Wave und Crescent Moon.
Ich habe für meine Kachel noch die Muster Agua, Dust Bunny und Msst hinzugefügt.
Und da ich ein großer Meeresfan bin, hatte ich viel Freude beim tanglen dieser Kachel :-)

Bei Adele gibt es diese Woche die Challenge It's a String Thing #165. Dabei sind ein spezieller String vorgegeben und folgende Muster, aus denen man auswählen kann: PIB, Flux und Verve.
Das neue Muster PIB hat mir sehr viel Spaß gemacht und Flux verwende ich sehr gerne. Das Muster Verve mag ich zwar auch, aber dieses Mal hab ich einfach keinen Platz auf meiner Kachel gefunden, wo es mir gefallen hätte, daher hab ich es weggelassen ;-)

I really enjoyed to tangle the new pattern PIB and Flux is one of my favourites. I also like the pattern Verve but this time I didn't find a place on my tile where I would like it, so I decided to leave it out ;-)

Bei Anya Lothrop gibt es in diesem Monat die Challenge Muster Mixer #23. Dafür sollen die beiden Muster D-Vine und Embellish gemixt werden.
Die Muster sollen nicht nebeneinander gezeichnet werden, sondern eine Verschmelzung oder Kombination der Muster stattfinden und diese Challenge finde ich jedes Mal wieder absolut spannend!
Bei beiden Mustern werden Blumen gezeichnet und daher hat es mir dieses Mal besonderen Spaß gemacht :-)

In this month Anya Lothrop gives us the challenge Muster Mixer #23. We should mix the patterns D-Vine and Embellish.
The patterns should not tangled next to each other as a duotangle. Pattern mixing means to merge or to intertwine two tangles and I find this challenge absolutely fascinating each time!
In both patterns you draw flowers and I liked to tangle them a lot :-)

W2

Bei Adele gibt es diese Woche die Challenge It's a String Thing #164. Dafür sollte das Muster W2 verwendet werden, entweder als Monotangle oder je nach Wunsch auch kombiniert mit weiteren Mustern.
Ich habe zwei Kacheln erstellt - einmal ein Monotangle auf schwarzer Kachel und einmal eine Kombination mit Henna Drum auf roter Kachel. Hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht :-)

I decided to tangle two tiles - the first one is a monotangle on a black tile and the second one is a combination with Henna Drum on a red tile. I really liked to do that :-)

It's a String Thing #150 - The Zensquicentennial

Bei Adele gab es diese Woche die 150. Challenge "It's a String Thing" - The Zensquicentennial :-)

Ein Grund zu feiern! Adele hat extra für diese Challenge einen String erstellt, der eine 150 darstellt und dazu eine Auswahl an Mustern, die sie alle selbst entworfen hat. Für meine Kachel habe ich die Muster Citrus, Kisses, LG, Uncorked und XAV verwendet.
Eine wunderbare Aufgabe, die mir viel Spaß gemacht hat :-)

This week the challenge of Adele was a very special one: 150. Challenge "It's a String Thing" - The Zensquicentennial :-)

A good reason to celebrate! For this challenge Adele made a string that is the number 150 and tangles of her own library of patterns. For my tile I used Citrus, Kisses, LG, Uncorked and XAV.
That was a wonderful challenge and I had a lot of fun to tangle it :-)

Congratulation, dear Adele, your challenge is a very special one!!!

Bei Adele gibt es diese Woche die Challenge It's a String Thing #148. Dabei soll das Muster Fengle als String dienen. Es bleibt jedem selbst überlassen, ob er ein Monotangle malt oder weitere Muster innerhalb oder neben Fengle hinzufügt.
Hier ist meine Kachel für die Challenge, dabei habe ich neben Fengle auch Tipple verwendet :-)

Bei Adele gibt es diese Woche die Challenge It's a String Thing #147. Dabei sind ein spezieller String mit vier Kreisen vorgegeben und folgende Muster, aus denen man auswählen kann: Pixioze, Blooming Butter and Zinger.
Bisher hatte ich so meine Schwierigkeiten mit Blooming Butter, aber dieses Mal hat es ganz gut geklappt :-)

Dabei sind ein spezieller String mit der Zahl 90 vorgegeben und folgende Muster, aus denen man auswählen kann: Queen's Crown, Baton und MA-XIII.

Bei Adele gibt es diese Woche die Challenge It's a String Thing #139. Dabei sind ein spezieller gewundener String vorgegeben und folgende Muster, aus denen man auswählen kann: B-Twixt, Tagh und Chillon.
Besonders das Muster B-Twixt hat mir sehr gefallen :-)

Ich finde es ganz wunderbar, dass dort ein Kunstwerk aus vielen einzelnen Kacheln von ganz unterschiedlichen Tanglern kreiert wurde und meine Kachel ein Teil davon ist.
