Weihnachtszeit / Christmas time

In den letzten Wochen hatte ich nicht so viel Zeit zu tanglen wie sonst und dann ging auch noch mein Laptop kaputt, so dass ich keinen Eintrag im Blog machen konnte...

Glücklicherweise hatte ich vorher meine Weihnachtskarten mit einem eigenen Motiv bedrucken lassen und konnte die Zeit nutzen, sie zu schreiben. Außerdem habe ich eine besondere Karte mit der Notan-Technik für meine Eltern zu Weihnachten gezeichnet :-)

Nun ist mein Laptop repariert und so möchte ich euch heute schon einmal ein frohes Weihnachtsfest wünschen und meine persönlichen Weihnachtsferien einläuten!

In the last weeks I didn't have much time to tangle and then my laptop was defective so I couldn't write a post in this blog...

Fortunately I had issued my christmas postcards with an own motive before that and so I used the time to write them. In addition to that I tangled a special christmas card with the notan technique for my parents :-)

Now I have my laptop back and today I want to wish you a very merry christmas and will start my personal christmas holidays now!

Etwas Neues ausprobiert / Tried something new :-)

Vor ein paar Tagen habe ich bei Ela über Notan - eine besondere Technik gelesen und war sofort begeistert. Nähere Infos über diese Technik gibt es bei Suzanne McNeill und bei Cindy Shepard. Es geht dabei um das Erstellen einer besonderen Kachel mit schwarzen und weißen Elementen.

Ich habe direkt zwei Kacheln gebastelt und die erste für die aktuelle Diva Weekly Challenge #293 verwendet. Dort soll das Muster Keeko in eine Kachel integriert werden.
Bisher mochte ich dieses Muster eigentlich nicht besonders, aber dieses Mal fand ich das tanglen von Keeko sehr entspannend.

Hier also meine beiden ersten Versuche mit Notan:

A few days ago I found an entry in Ela's blog about Notan - a special technique and was immediately thrilled. You can find informations about this technique in posts from Suzanne McNeill and Cindy Shepard. This technique is about create special tiles with black and white elements.

I created two tiles and used the first one for the Diva Weekly Challenge #293. There we should use the pattern Keeko on a tile. I didn't really liked this pattern so far but this time I found it very relaxing to tangle it.

Here are my first two tries with Notan:

Dann habe ich noch eine weitere Kachel getangled mit ein paar "alten" und ein paar für mich neuen Mustern :-)
