Weihnachten naht... / Christmas is near ...

Zur Zeit erstelle ich Weihnachtskarten für meine Familie und meine Freunde :-) Die Hintergründe in rot und grün habe ich am Computer erstellt, die Karten ausgedruckt und dann jeweils Engel und Tannenbäume darauf gemalt und "Frohe Weihnachten" in (ordentlicher ;-)) Handschrift drauf geschrieben. Jetzt fehlt nur noch der eigentliche Text auf der Rückseite, aber ich habe ja noch ein paar Tage Zeit ;-)

In the last days I created christmas cards for my family and my friends :-) I drew the backgrounds in red and green with the computer, printed the cards with it and then I drew angels and christmas trees on it and wrote "Merry christmas" with a (hopefully proper ;-)) handwriting. Now there is only the text on the back missing, but I have fortunately a few days left ;-)

Meine erste "Teilnahme" bei Zendala Dare. Mir hat es großen Spaß gemacht, die Vorlage mit Mustern zu füllen :-)

My first participation of Zendala Dare. I really liked to fill the Zendala template with patterns :-)

Bei Adele gibt es diese Woche die Challenge It's a String Thing #118. Dabei sind der TanglePatterns String 017 vorgegeben und folgende Muster, aus denen man auswählen kann: Acrosstick, Afterglo und Ahh. Ich habe Afterglo und Ahh gewählt und wenn man genau hinschaut, kann man auch noch den String erkennen ;-)

Bei Diva's Weekly Challenge #243 gab es diese Woche die Aufgabe, nur einen kleinen Bereich einer Kachel mit Mustern zu versehen und den überwiegenden Teil frei zu lassen.

Mir hat diese Aufgabe wirklich gut gefallen, so dass ich drei Kacheln dazu getangelt habe :-)

I loved this challenge so much, so I tangled three tiles :-)

Beim Inchie für Every Inchie Monday ging es um das Stichwort "NYMPH".
Zunächst hatte ich überhaupt keine Idee, aber dann habe eine Schmetterlingsart gefunden - die weißen Baumnymphen (siehe Wikipedia) ;-)
Was für ein Glück, dass ich das gefunden habe, denn Wald- oder Wassernymphen konnte ich irgendwie nicht zeichnen ;-)))

I really had no idea but then I found a species of butterflies called "The white tree nymphs" in german (see the Wikipedia site) ;-)

What a luck I found that, because I didn't succeeded to draw a water nymph or something like that ;-)))

Vor ein paar Tagen habe ich euch das Buch "Zendalas - Der Einsteigerkurs" von Anya Lothrop vorgestellt (hier). Dazu habe ich am Wochenende nach langer Zeit mal wieder ein Zendala gemalt :-)
